The Art of Daily Living
Ayurveda is one of the most remarkable holistic medical systems in the world, having evolved over 5,000 years with its origin as India. It covers all aspects of health and well-being: physical, emotional, mental and spiritual. In the Western world today, it is also commonly referred to as a system of natural medicine. Ayurveda views the human body, its mind, emotions, senses and energy as a microcosm of the whole universe and universal flow. In other words, the laws that govern nature, govern us as well.
Ayurveda takes an individualized approach to wellness so there is truly something beneficial for everyone. Its principals guide you in understanding where you are out of balance and offers ancient tools to prevent disease from gaining foothold in the body system.
My Ayurveda Foundation Program is ideal for women of all ages, from busy entrepreneurs and executives, those curious about proactive wellness and self-healing along with moms who take care of others while trying to balance taking care of themselves. My program covers the basics, from everyday self-care, sleep, to seasonal eating and look at the same for the stages of life. Reconnect with your physical and subtle body and make sustainable changes that feel empowering and just plain good. Sustainable basic Ayurvedic practices are nothing more than the art of appropriate living to achieve balance and longevity.
Together, over four weeks, one hour a week, we will:
Peel back the beginning layer and meaning of Ayurveda, the Science of Life, in a way of being that focuses on reducing dis-ease, (anxiety, stress, overwhelm), and preventing disease, cultivating balance and harmony.
With a health consultation, we’ll assess your current health and wellness and then outline the basic steps you can start today for balance and wellness….after all 5,000 years of wisdom is way beyond my scope.
Understand the “dance of the doshas” for balance.
Explore ways to live in balance with nature through simple self-care guidelines and practices.
Set reasonable, sustainable new intentions for to restore balance and cultivate a higher state of health and happiness in mind, body & spirit.
