The Interplay of Energy
I’ve been thinking a lot about energy this past month; how we cultivate, clear, and contain energy. Here’s what I believe:
*There are all types of energy. There’s mental, emotional, physical, spiritual and universal.
*We cannot see, measure or identify some energy like the metaphysical. It just is. You know when you enter a room and you feel a vibe? It’s either positive or negative, stale or alive? That’s energy.
*Energy has a vibration. It needs to be managed. You know the saying “I’m having a bad day”. That doesn’t mean the energy is bad, it means the vibration is off and we can bring it back into harmony through our thoughts and actions.
*Earth is Energy (macrocosom). Humans are energy (microcosom). In its simplest form our food is grown and cultivated in soil from the Earth. The sun, rain and soil all go into the formation of the food we eat. We then eat and absorb food, it carries energy from the Earth. We are a microcosom of the marco Earth. The Earth is made up of five elements; space, air, water, fire, Earth and so are humans. Interesting, right? For example, Earth is comprised of rivers, lakes and oceans. Humans are composed of water too, like salvia, blood, digestive juices, synovial fluid in joints, etc.
*It gets really interesting when human beings interact (flow or suppress) with the Earth’s energy, it’s daily and seasonal cycles. For example, most people go to bed when it’s dark, and wake upon sunrise. What happens to us when we stay out too late, inevitably getting a second wind and go to bed at 2 am instead? I’m not sure about you, but I’m “off” the next day, depleted, foggy, short-tempered and out of balance.
Here’s what I know for sure, as humans we are just a small part of universal energy. Once we become aware of the qualities and rhythms of the universe and how we interact in Earth’s space, we can live more peaceful and healthy lives. If one by one we tuned in, cleared and cultivated our energy, the ripple effect on the world would be healing.
It’s all a dance.
